12587603 causing U0107 in my 06 2500hd 6.0/4l80e

OK so my dd is an 06 Silverado 2500hd with 6.0 lq4 and 4l80e and I was hoping to make a few simple changes.
I really have researched this I didn't just dump my OS and say 'where is an .xdf for os xyz? but I am really stuck at the moment and could use any help, encouragement, abuse whatever you have to offer :-)

I'd like to turn off a few things but alas my OS is 12606807 don't worry 12487603 is a universal donor for the 1 mb P59's.... well maybe not so much.
So I start with a 7603 file found here for a GMt800 DBW 6.0 with 4l80E heck it already has the right gear ratio and pulses per mile and I disable vats remove speed limiters enable oil pressure in platform options (and verify dbw is enabled in this donor .bin it is)

Not being completely stupid (well my wife would probably disagree) I purchased a spare P59 and flashed it first with my trucks current firmware using lsdroid and a bench harness selecting clone and it works perfectly so the new spare pcm is good.

Now I take this new spare pcm and flash it with the donor 7603 I edited, install in truck and it fires up instantly WOOHOO Yippie etc..
Unfortunately if I give the truck more than 1/2 throttle I get a reduced power message the money light comes on and it runs like crap. I scan to find U0107.

I flash the trucks stock firmware back to this same spare pcm and it is fine in fact I put 500 miles on it this way so I am pretty sure the spare pcm isn't the problem.
I don't think wiring or throttle controller are the problem as with OS 12606807 on both stock and spare pcm I have 0 problems.
Doing some googleshooting I found a few people that had problems with older OS' and 06 throttle body and controller that sounds exactly like what I am seeing.

So
Has anyone else seen this problem with 06 hardware and 7603 OS setting U0107 at over 40% throttle ?
If so what did you do?
I can't find a P59 .xdf other than 7603 do xdf's for newer P59 OS's exist?
The goal isn't to swap i just would like to turn off a few dtc's so I can do bad things to the planet and also make my truck a bit more fun to drive so dropping the coin for efi live isn't really an option for me right now and so if anyone has idea what stupid thing I'm doing wrong I would be eternally grateful for your input.

As far as I can tell, there is only one 1 megabyte blue-green PCM OS out there that anybody has done XDF work on and that it is "7603".

U0107 pertains to Loss of Communication with your drive-by-wire Throttle Actuator Control. My guess here would be that 7603 is incompatible with the wiring of your DBW throttle. You might have to swap pedals or the TAC module to get it to work but this is merely a guess.

If I can find an 04 TAC module cheap I may try it or I'll just have to live with a few codes being set after I do the exhaust for now.
I hadn't planned on changing the exhaust but the oem muffler is totally shot and my thinking is if I have to work on the exhaust there is no reason to keep it stock.

What are the pcms hardware numbers that you are using?

Absolutely the same stuff as described in the first msg. How to deal with this? I have (2006) 12606807 Os bin file and cant swap it with 603. And no 807 xdf to disable post o2 sensors.
or sommebody can help with editting 807 file?

you do not say the hardware but the os. all p59 pcms are not the same.

Also, have you checked to confirm that DBW is connected to the same pins in both OE applications? I seem to remember some issues with folks trying to switch between cals from different platforms in the past.

There are many threads on the differences in the GM Gen 3 Truck DBW systems. The short answer is that 2003 to 2005 models used one system of parts, while the 2006 and 2007 (classic) used a different system of parts.

EFILive does not offer Custom Operating Systems (COS) for P59 PCM Operating Systems (OS) after the 2005 model year. This means flashing the PCM with an earlier COS, and changing the hard parts of the DBW system to match.

I have a 2006 and just want to do a stock tune with the basic deletes, is the best path forward to just have someone who knows do it with HP tuners?

Or should I muck around with trying to figure it out, seems like the xdfs can be generated now with universal patcher.... I guess worst case I brick the PCM and go holley.

I have an 06 or 07 6.0L that is doing the same thing right now. If I touch anything torque management related it goes haywire.
