Did you actually click the “stream” button in EEHack? By default, only the Main tab is set to Stream when connected.

Yes, I did. As soon as I click Stream, data starts populating. Maybe I did not look good enough. Or engine should be running... I will double check.
it was just a guess, i'm sure road test later will tell you whats up. if its still not working we might be able to figure out why and patch it for you.
Following along - planning on adding a performance mode switch to my 9C1, but haven't wired it up yet.
Did a quick look and didn't see the performance mode state in eehack or Tunerpro RT, but it looks like it's available in scan9495.
You might want to give that a try if you haven't already.
Hope this helps,
Jim
Performance Switch State is in EEHack, you just have to adjust the visibility slider on the right side in order to make it visible. ;)
everything in the factory datastream should be in eehack... if not please let me know and we can add it. there's so much stuff that I had to add that slider otherwise new tuners would be overwhelmed.
Just checked again and if I set View Filter to Hacker there are two things happening when I press Perf mode button:
1. Performance mode button pressed flag will set to Off momentarily while I am pressing the button, as soon a I release it it goes back to ON.
2. Unused byte 42 flag will toggle between OFF and ON every time I press the button.
Yes, sounds like you got it!
Did some digging and was just going to do a test and see if "Unused Byte 42" was it.
Thanks for posting back your results!
Jim
The button is momentary switch. Press once and it will activate, press once more and it will deactivate. So all looks good.
You can wire a led to pin a15[red].
You need a switched b+ to led through some resistor and than to pin a15. The pcm grounds the signal when performance mode is active.
Look through the performance tables. If they are not set as expected you might not feel any difference.
Yup, I have a button with LED wired just like you describe and it lights up properly.
Thanks!
