Ok thanks buddy.

These are $58, stock calibration. I believe the 3barbird1 file is a stock cal converted to 3 BAR. mybird21 is the first 3 BAR I burned for my car. You're welcome to try them until I can review one of the datalogs from yours. Warning: Check these cals out before running them. They were made 9 years ago and I don't remember all the details.
checked them out, the timing table looks familiar to one i found when i first did this conversion. its ALOT more timing that im currently running.
Fuel tables however look like they arent meant for a 3 bar setup possibly.. every handful of cells drops to a single digit number, very garbled up.
Anyways, burned thru the e50-60ish and have full e70 in my car now. Still get 3 or less degrees of knock retard every single wide open pull at some point (seems to change rpm spots almost every time) One time i ramped up to 18 degrees real fast. Only had that happend maybe once before.
Going to pull plugs tomorrow hopefully as i havent checked these plugs since i put them in. if I see nothing suspect on them like my old ones, I may look into buying another new knock sensor or at least RE-torquing my current one?
In that video i posted it didnt even make enough knock counts to get up to 3 degrees of knock retard. This is on 87 octane.
WIth that amount of timing to run 87 octane and have that little of kr, shouldnt putting e70 in this car with same timing table have absolutely no knock at all?? Am i wrong in thinking that?? Ive never messed with this kind of thing before. Thats whats making me want to try re torquing the knock sensor or even adding a thin wrap of thread tape on it or SOMETHING.....
Pulled my plugs, all look New except number 3 again, thinking there had to be some kind of mechanical issue
definate detonation on that one.are the injectors clean
New injectors, new pump, tank is clean. Even new parts can be bad tho.
This is a bummer because i put Alot of time and money to make this very reliable and my last plug was way worse and even had a chunk out of the porcelain, hate to imagine what wear had been done on the engine.
do you have the correct memcal ie 4 cylinder MPI netres .will fire timing at all sorts of weird angles with a 6 cylinder memcal in there unmodded
if that is the only cylinder try a 2 step colder plug in it the cylinder might have a little smaller combustion chamber then the other ones.
Ecm came out of a factory turbo car for sure! I'll try a few steps colder on that cylinder.
mybird21 is a working file from my own car. Did you use a $58 definition file?
Oh sorry, i used#59.
I'm just going to figure out the mechanical issue, im certain now its not tune related, thanks for the file.
On second thought i really dont like the colder plug idea. It wouldn't even run the stock tune without getting knock without even being in boost at all. On top of that,i already am running a non extended tip compated to the extended tip from factory.
I would try a colder plug on that cylinder, see what it does it may be a little oil getting pass a valve guide or the oil ring if it is a fairly new engine and things are not yet seated in yet?
