More cool ideas...

to make use of the flashtool, you MUST modify the algorithm that handles ALDL functions.
Still pretty cool! Seems to be working on flash PCM as well... I just didn't have time to read but wanted to link to cool ideas!
I believe this is an extension of work done by montecarslow? on thirdgen.
somewhat.... instead of having 4K of NVSRAM mapped from 2000-2FFF, they replace their entire PROM with it... and program it over the ALDL circuit using customized ALDL commands... i believe they made modes 11/12/13, something like that.
much like OBD2, they also only have the calibration changed when uploading the new tune so that they don't have the possibility of corrupting the algorithm.
Really cool stuff that I don't completely understand! LOL!
I'm content with plugging and unplugging an EEPROM. But it's neat to see what others are up to!
