First post from new guy. Howdy from Texas

Hi. I tried to register with my yahoo account but didn't get an email. It may be because I was using my phone for the first four tries and couldn't get the "i'm not a robot" code accepted. -back home now and using the hotmail account. Anyway, I am a total newbie at this stuff but very excited to find out that it is out there. It's been quite a while since I worked on anything like a hotrod. I just bought an 89 C3500, 7.4, TH400 (primarily for towing) that is running very badly. I had just about decided to put a carb on it rather than start changing parts in the hope that I would hit on the problem. I have just ordered a fuel pressure tester and a good timing light with a tach, and now tonight the bluetooth dongle from 1320electronics. I will need the adx file ($42-1227747-V3T.adx If I've got it right). If this works out I am sure I will be getting the Moates package deal and start having fun!
