Hello,
My research indicates they made a few P59's with the IAC hardware (drive by cable) up to 2007. Not all P59's had this but the following hardware (not service) numbers 12575502, 12570558, 12583659, and 12589161 should have IAC drive by cable support. I seem to remember grabbing mine from an Express van.

Thank you everybody for all your help. I feel a bit overwhelmed now to be honest. Only reason i wanted to change os was to br able to tune my car since my os doesn't have an xdf I don't believe idk about buying a new ecu or anything. All this talk of dbc and dbw is confusing lol but i appreciate all your help. The corvette bin shows that is has IAC control tables that have values and it looks like DBW is disabled like in my gto. DBW aside, would i have to manually copy paste the diffrent values into the New os bin from my gto bin before i flash it?
A BIN is not hardware. Those four numbers above correspond to actual PCM hardware devices and you will find those hardware numbers on the PCM adhesive label sticker.

I'm hoping to add an OS option that will be helpful.
The 2002 Camaro LS1 engine is nearly identical to the 2004 GTO LS1 engine.
Perhaps using the 512K PCM (aka '0411) and Operating System 12212156 from a 2002 Camaro is an option? http://gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injecti...light=12212156
The 2004 GTO wire harness might require a few wiring changes for the 512K PCM, NOT a whole new harness.

Thank you for your help I really appreciate it. However im not sure how having to modify the wire harness is easier than flashing the 04 vette tune. Correct me if im wrong but For some reason it shows that it does in fact have iacv tables? If all i have to do is copy the tables over surely thats easier than modifying the wire harness. None of this would be needed if they made an xdf for my OS :(
Im not looking to change my PCM. If what im asking about (changing just the OS) is not possible than I'd rather live with my pcm and os
I use TunerCats OBD2 $oftware. Based on the .bin files posted in this thread 04 Vette vs. 04 GTO . . . The 04 Corvette is Drive By Wire.

Thank you for your help it was very informative. So I'll have to wait on doing an OS swap if its even possible. The easiest way would probably be save up for hptuners
TunerPro OBD2 has a limited library of Operating Systems. I'm not overly optimistic the library of TunerPro OBD2 Operating Systems will expand to include OS 12587604. Most, if not all TunerPro OBD2 Operating Systems were "Uncompensated" ventures or projects.

Is the vehicle a 2004 GTO or are you just using a P59 out of 2004 GTO in a conversion project?
If it's a conversion project, the 2004 GTO computer already has the IAC drivers and you can change DBW to DBC in the software, so flashing to a Corvette OS should be fine.
If it's not a conversion project and you are actually driving a 2004 GTO, I would strongly advise against swapping to the Corvettes OS. I'm attaching an xdf for the 2004 GTO OS you can try out.
The vehicle is a 2004 Gto with the oem computer. Im not looking to change to DBW nor looking to change the computer.
I appreciate the xdf however i can tell it was generated via universal patcher While it is better than nothing, ive highlighted my issues with universal patcher in the thread for it.
It does allow access to most bins however it is far from complete which is fine since it is a free opensource work in progress. many tables are missing and you can only do so much with it. The program and the XDF it generates for tunerpro are missing hundreds of important tables.
it seems if i cant change my OS to something more supported for tunerpro than all i can do is pay the greedy HPTuners or wait until universal patcher has more support. i love what the program is trying to achieve but i dont think we are there yet even though the ecu is over a decade old, i hope soon we can all finally enjoy true open source tuning. thank you
Im curious if anyone knows about maybe disabling the DBW area in the vehicle options table? because even the vette has IACV tables. I also know some chevy express vans used OS12587604 and they were drive by cable.
