I just bought a new laptop for the sole purpose of programming my LT1 (old laptop was getting very aggravating) and I cannot for the life of me download winflash. I have tried the "run as administrator" trick several times to no avail. Any other suggestions please? Laptop is a Dell Inspirion running Windows 10.
eehack (in my sig) also contains a flash tool, but winflash may be more stable as it's been out forever.
i think the installer is broken but winflash runs fine. i had a bitch of a time too. i installed it on my win7 machine and just copied the entire folder over, and it worked fine. here is the folder as a zip file. extract it to c:\winflash or something and run winflash.exe
Why not get a hold of the owner of Tunercats? John has excellent service.
I'm still using my old school IBM for my Vortec tuning needs. It even has a serial port.

Thanks guys, Steve, I copied your file and haven't tried using it yet but it does open and looks like it will work.
Hog, Good idea, I had the same thought after posting this as I was in bed going to sleep, why not just go right to the source? I still plan to do that.
I'll send an update on both in the near future. :)
