I agree with dave w, for your goals the only way to achieve them is to tune YOUR combination. Yes, there will be some canned tunes that will be close, but the one requirement that you will miss out on, that seems very important to you is economy. Again, yes a canned tuned can be ok here, but I have found that to get any real economy out of an engine, you need to tune the specific combination for it, best way to be while being driven (using an EPROM emulator, like a Moates Ostrich 2.0), that way you can get the engine sipping fuel, without bucking and causing issues when you get back into the throttle from a leaner cruise.

I have 3 dell D630's(amongst other lappy's) I use for car stuff, they are cheap on ebay ~$100 and even have an onboard serial port for old school. One I put all the ram, solid state drive, dual boot winXP and 10 and still only in it for ~$200

if it was a stock 305 and you were on a budget i'd maybe consider the Lt1 cam. you can definetly run a bigger cam if you are in the 10:1 range. I know fast355 likes the LT4 cam (not hotcam) which is similar to the L98 cam. I originally was going to run the L98 cam with 1.7 rockers but ended up getting my Howard's cam for cheap and used up 1.5 roller rockers i've had sitting around for years.
