If a 4.3 conversion to 5.7 is done , does the ESC module on the manifold stay and can be used or does the smaller chip inside handle those duties?

If you have a C3 computer like a 7747 which has two separate chips inside you need to use an ESC module. The ESC module is designed to tune the knock sensor to the engine. I would *guess* the 4.3 module will work ok with a 5.7 because the knock frequency is linked to engine bore size and the 4.3 bore is the same as the 5.7 bore.
Yea i tend to agree and maybe they are just changing part #s for some ,saying it's V6 only like Delco, but then BWD says both. So who lives in a smog check zone and knows what actual detonation smells like, cuz that 1 wire O2 ain't gonna pick up them NOX. I can hear it but I'm actually beggining to think it's flexplate. I could measure pitch frequency but i wouldn't know what i was lookin at on the scope spikes. Maybe i'll unplug, ground , make sure its FAT on fuel and stays together to 4500 or so!
