Mark, I'm only really home in the evenings. Yes, you need to get up here some time and check out the new equipment. Speaking of which, I was wanting to clear a half an acre or so and move some dirt...
Mark, I'm glad to hear your doing so well. Keep up the fight. I wish I had some free time to stop by. I'll try to see you when you get out, let me know.
That's very good to hear Mark, hang in there. My mom passed a few years ago from stomach cancer, so I have an idea of what you're going though. It sounds like they found it early enough that you...
We got down to -6 last night.
That is very good to hear, Mark.
We have a mini-split ductless heat pump/AC for the house. It works pretty well until temp drops to around 5*F. For heating the shop, I converted a kerosene/oil burner to burn waste oil. It worked...
since we can't post pics in PMs I figured I would post this here. To caddyrodder and mtb803: I was going to get your items shipped out yesterday, but I had a small problem.... nailgun jumped and...
That's great to hear.
Sounds good.....
It couldn't be much smoother. Hopefully I will be able to get sealer on it by Tuesday and start moving stuff back in next Monday. Mark when you get back home and have some free time you should come...
LOL... I will. Drips from a leaking forklift don't count right?
Been waiting 5 years for this to happen. :jfj: 2400sq' of smooth gray awesomeness.
Thanks. The problem with most benders is that they almost all have a 6-7" radius on the 1-1/4" pipe dies. Customer wanted something that fit better than that.
Yeah, it's DONE!!!!! Been working on this for a couple of months now, in between two jobs at 70+hrs a week. I had to MAKE the die, and the bender to get a 10" Centerline Radius in my shop press. I...
No, I was busy welding handrail, a paintbooth, more handrail, etc. 30-40hrs a week, on top of my regular 36hr job, kind of sucks. I might get to ride in it someday, though.
So I have been working a lot of hours at my 'part time' job, (more hours than I work at my real job), and the guy I work for had his jet boat motor dynoed today. Ford 521, made 520hp, and 598 lb/ft....
I had a PS, and PS2 for a while years ago, spent many, MANY hours on Gran Tourismo, GT4, etc. I ended up giving them away as I rarely have any time for stuff like that anymore.
This one sounds interesting, for those running the '7747....

Very nice, I like that idea of gauges driven by microcontrollers. Sweet.
Works for me.
Yea I saw that one, not too bad, a little rusted out, no interior.
I was curious as well so a quick google search, Stevie Ray Vaughan, helicopter crash 22 years ago today.
I haven't started anything yet, just making a list, and seeing if the idea is possible.
LS stuff, I'm not sure. Most '96+ stuff there might be Vortec, maybe harness, PCMs, I have yet to see to...
Lightweight is the key here, Camaro makes 100 more hp and lots more torque, weighs almost twice what this should and the 8.5" 10 has held up fine. But I do have a 9" disc rear end waiting for a home...
