Update:
I used Permatex High performance thread sealant on the plug and Gasoila E-Seal on the adapter fitting. No leaks. We can right this one off in the history book.
Have a tube of that and ordered some Gasoila.
Permatex 2 is indeed gasoline resistant.

I'd be willing to take em off your hands if you're still interested?
The gauge ports. Permatex 2 used.
Did indeed. The leaks were at the fitting threads.
Anyone know of a well made fitting that won't leak?
FYI...that fitting leaked at the threaded areas on both the plug and the fuel schrader valve. Applied Permatex 2 prior to install. Reinstalled the OE fitting no leak. Contacted CFM for refund.
I posted that info not long ago on iRV2 given not many are or were aware of their operation. I've replaced the sensors on this 454 (94 Southwind Storm motorhome 28ft). Thanks for the feedback. I've...
That is the solenoid that opens and closes the vacuum to the (ISC) 'Idle speed control actuator can. Once it's activated and vacuum exists in the line the throttle plate is free to close further than...
Wanted:
The part number for the "Idle control speed actuator' is #
GM 17084953
Item #16: https://lt-truck-gmc.7zap.com/en/g15+g1500/49295-1994/0-0-1904162379/0-1623891437-0-0/
Here's a pic of the (ISC) idle speed actuator:
They can be checked wither by using a Mity vac hand pump or a hose and attach it to the hose connection and draw small amount vacuum on it by mouth....
I'd be interested in the (ISC) can off the 454 TBI. Sent you a PM.
Do they hold vacuum?
With respect to the throttle kicker. It's correct name is 'Idle speed control actuator' (ISC) GM used it on some big block 454 during the TBI years. It only activated at first start (cold) and...
Alright have the TBI rebuilt but not installed yet (work). Anyone know the size Viton o-rings used on the lines at the rear (each end of filter housing)? The following video (not my video) shows the...
Figures...LOL!
Well I'll have (2) rebuild kits to pull from. Ill use the original larger spacer it's currently using.
How'd you come up with that?
EGR is fairly new (1.5yrs) AC Delco. It is an electronic EGR (linear).
Anyone know the EGR passage diameter & length of passage? I'll get a long flexible tube...
Went ahead and purchased the second one you linked above.
Which is the 7.4L kit?
This is what I purchased...https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1324590&cc=1059634&pt=12939
What if any in the kit can be used on the 454 TBI?
Correct. 26-32psi to be precise.
Much appreciated for the reply.
I replaced the O2 sensor with a Delco one (single wire) just a few years ago. The engine runs great just getting a feel for the proper tune. This only has the (1)...
With respect to the BLM and/or INT what would typical numbers look like given varying condition/s?
This RV doesn't have an intake air temp sensor on it. I was curious as well as to the -40 reading. I've looked high and low and definitely there is no IAT on this engine. As for the BLM, didn't have...
