I used the HP Tuner and I was able to remove the VATS. I seen on you tube where someone cloned a PCM when no XDF was available, I think it may have been someone name the Driveway Engineer on You...

Thanks for the replies and the universal patcher link, I ordered a HP Tuner a couple of days ago.

I'm doing a LS swap from a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. The PCM has the 12587811 OS. I want to remove the VAT's and I see there are no xdf for that OS. Is HP tuner my only option?
