Don't know why, but went out and tried it and she fired up.
Runs like crap, but runs.
Now to the tuning.
Thanks for the quick reply, but I think I can look up everything that's already posted....

Not sure how I posted under this section , but I did
Damn, reading all this stuff again makes me want to start working on the ole truck again.
I need a lathe and mill, that would help with custom brackets.
Good stuff and good reading.
Ostrich.
Maybe it is a simple as unhooking the battery to the truck. Then seeing if she start. Got a 12 shift getting ready to start. I'll check back every couple hours.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Thought I'd hook up the tunerproRT after 2+ years and start fine tuning small issues on my 94 K1500 tbi with vortec heads with my "New PC after a hard drive crash" and lost all my old bins/logs....
No idea.
Is there another mask/bin combo that would allow this change that would work with my ecm. I will be travelling shortly and won't be able to replay for 90 minutes to 2hrs. Thanks for your guy's help...
The bin was originally made by 93v8s10.
Also recently downloaded the adx "a218 trans1 $OD TP5 V250" and that is where I discovered the "current torque signal pressure" not rising above 127
Then my new tranny is destined for 3-4 clutch failure? Surely there is some way to get line pressure to raise to match the load. It's a 4wd truck for crying out loud, heavy heavy heavy.
So how would one raise the line pressure to the 225psi for wot?
0D 7247 in 94 k1500.
Just rebuilt the tranny and it showed thee was a poblem as i was getting clutch material in the pan. A lot of it. So did a pressure gauge test before tear int down. I determined...
My basic math doesn't work. A fuel injector calc gave me almost 75pph.
Don't mean to question you, but at the time it didn't make sense. I'll trust the calc and not my math.
....
Fuel pressure is closer to 19.5 I just made a generalization that was a little too specific, sorry about that. I actually calculate 91.5pph @19.5
61pph / 13 psi= 4.692 x 20psi = 93.84.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. But with almost 30% rise in pressure how did you get 75.66?:confused1:
Is this the coolant temp bias were talking about. If it is, it's supposed to pull timing once it hits those temps. But to me it seems like it pulled timing no matter what. I had results by zero'ing...
Got the injectors changed. Both end in 206 now.
Was advised to bump up fuel pressure as the BPW at 6.? was too high.
20psi and tuning to bring everything closer.
Is it better to tune using...
OK. Changed it in the adx. I see what you mean. I appreciate you breaking it down like that. That was easy to follow.
On the scalar of initial timing adv it is set at 8.1* Is that not right?
No I did not check timing light and adx showing. But I can. It will be a several days before I can.
This is from eaglemark's link
5235279 - White / Green - 50pph (overrated @ 55pph) - 5.0L / 305 Cars/Trucks
5235206 - Orange / Black - 61pph - 5.7L / 350 Cars/Trucks
Ok i got the numbers of the injectors.
Double checked injectors and the numbers are different. 5235206 and 5235279.
Numbers are hard to read, don't see any color codes.
I have one 50lb and...
orange/orange insulated posts. Those are 61lb hr right?
Let me go double check.
Their orange and orange.
Yes but i do need a different spring as this one is just about maxed out. But it is adjustable, but only goes lower right now.:rolleye:
It always seems a dyno disappoints. We read everything and calculate Flywheel hp. Then do a dyno run and get RWHP. Even when you add back for drive train loss, its never the same. It always feels...
My base timing is in the bin and distributor at 8*.
I modeled this swap after "fast305" reading his posts for a longtime. From the heads, similar cam, and exact intake manifold. He has touched base...
The main spark adv table has 36* in by 3200 rpm but watching my datalogs timing never goes over 30*. Spends most of the time between 25* - 30* except under wot.
WOT at 2500 I'm at 20* and creeps...
