I have a 89 S10 Blazer 4x4 4.3 TBI 700r4 transmission, moderate cam and a few other upgrades, I have a (Harris chip/prom) installed in the 1228062 now, been using the aftermarket chip for the last 8...
I had Dave do the conversion on 7747 I bought from him, this method is the way to go, no clearance issues with cover
Thanks for reply, going to be using a 1227747 in a 1989 S10 Blazer 4.3, I have a calpac from a 5.7, did not know if they are interchangeable.
Anyone know if the 1227747 uses different calpac's for v8's and V6's

yes like Mark says, injectors, knock sensor and knock module, prom and of course motor mounts, exhaust manifolds (Camaro/Firebird) or headers.
*some of the 89-91 4.3 S10/Blazers use the same knock...
