I got thisn done the other day. The IAC still wants to set at 39 until I trick it, I can pull pressure on my shifter without taking it out of park and it thinks it in drive, then the IAC will start...
Yea. The first time I tried this it didnt change, it did now it just takes it awhile to figure it out and adjust. I got my IAC down to about 10-20. I turned it 1 round in from the factory setting...
I really love the high idle. After finding out I had some weak plugs I guess, I put new ones in. Im idling around 650-700 and it having the sound of a dragster or something but not quite as rough....
Yea ive heard the IAC are bad about getting stopped up atleast on some vehicles. being stripped would make since why it wouldnt go past 39 steps, with A and B jumped over I could hear it buzzing...
Yea i always leave the key off for awhile, I even leave it on for a little before starting it. I had the high idle after going to park problem with other bins too, the only time I didn't have it is...
That looks pretty good! After I come up and stop it still stays at about 1200rpm and no way to get it back down unless I shut it off and start it back. I tried adjusting the screw again to get my IAC...
Somehow I couldnt find idle timing. Compare I can use, data tracing I can figure out. The JET is the bin I was using, this is one I didnt mess up. The ACSF is the stock one, which ever one you...
That's nice, it be interesting to hear it.
Im gonna go with a manual trans later but till then.. Turning the screw really helped, I turned it a few more just to get the IAC closer. I moved the timing from 22 to about 24 but most of the data...
Ok, I thought you was just pointing some things out, and didnt think you wanted me to do them all at once. Ill raise the spark, turn the screw, and adjust the fuel.
Sorry I had too much things...
Yea thats what I was gonna do but I take that back, Theres nothing to adjust there. Ive seen these throttle bodys have that idle screw but this one has nothing but a shiny spot there with no place...
My IAC dont have a adjuster if thats what you meant, I have noticed before they were high. Theres a screw for the blades that adjusts the idle but then it will be idling way over 850 I think. I...
The first one may be alittle better. I had a good chance to make 2 so I did. Im not sure if its best to do this after its warmed up or both.
Oh I done that before I first wrote you, I thought you was wondering what all I tried.
I used the jet 2 for this if that was the best thing to do. I set the desired idle speed on 850 and the spark...
How you determine that it needs to take more fuel out? My BLM and INT is at 108 so i thought i would have to add fuel to get that back up to 128.
Im reading up on the link you sent earlier also.
Yea I'm still wanting to learn. That's what I thought when I comoared the difference from jet and stock tunining, I knew then I needed to be custom.
I've tried a few things on my own like dropping...
Yea i wasnt all that happy when i figured out i paid that much for a stage 2 being not that much better. What company would be reputable? If you dont care ill upload the stage 2 to the bins page...
The stage 1 I got off this website. The stage 2 is a JET one I bought awhile back, I can upload them all if anyone wants to analyze them. After a min or so in the log where I set for a min before I...
Here is a log file and its a ACSF bin i ran. There is a big hill at the beginning when i data logged. I also have a stage 1 and stage 2 bin that seems to do alittle better then stock. I meant my blm...
Yea thats the right one. I didnt know much at the time about EFI when i started this project. I got a 700r trans right now, no stall but does good, it dont try to die in gear and it takes off easy....
Been looking everywhere to come up with a good Spark advance table or any other things to help. Running a TBI 350 with Headers, dual flowmasters with Comp Cam 12-366-4 Lift: .520"/.515" Duration:...
