Yes, know how the computer works, I am very familiar TunerPro and the OBD1 code, and changing parameters, even accessing the datastream and getting it to spit out different data if needed. But in...
I do not have EFI Live, so I do not have a .ctz file for this car. I am hoping someone here has some experience with this platform that can answer these questions.
Hey guys, been a long time since I've been on here, but I have a problem you guys might be able to help with. I have no experience with EFILive so if you could enlighten me, I would appreciate it.

Mark that is really great news. I am going to be back to just one job for a while, so I should be able to stop by more. Let me know when you get home and comfortable and I'll come down to see ya. ...
Such a relief to hear good news. Dave, when you make it over this way to see him, let me know. I wish I had more time to go down and see him, but two jobs and 7 days a week totaling 60-70 hours,...
It is not hard at all to replace one item in the data stream with another. I did a write up somewhere. I have my dash set up to show which forward gear it is in. Look at the two adxs for the trans...
I recently had an issue with my truck's tbi conversion. The fuel lines had gotten too close to the exhaust and it was having boiling fuel issues. It would run fine until it got warm, it would...
What year?
EDIT: NM, I saw your other post - '93. Wish I was closer, would love to drop that onto my '74 frame.
At one point I had measured all the dimensions of the IAC passage in a throttle body, and modeled it SolidWorks as part of a custom throttle body that would bolt to a standard Holley base plate. Yes...
Aaahhhhh, one of the passage ways for a vacuum port. Could be.
cold it idles high but that is in the PCM, hot is right around 750-800. Also one thing I had to do when running an external regulator was to install spacers instead of springs in the factory...
At an idle in neutral my Dual TBI the IAC stays on 0 steps. The throttle blades are letting to much air through even while closed ALL the way. It idles where I want so it's not bad. In gear it has...
Mark, glad to see you back on here so soon. It's relieving to hear good news. Stay strong and positive. Let me know if you need any help. I don't have a lot of spare time but I'll sure try to...
Mark, I'm only really home in the evenings. Yes, you need to get up here some time and check out the new equipment. Speaking of which, I was wanting to clear a half an acre or so and move some dirt...
Mark, I'm glad to hear your doing so well. Keep up the fight. I wish I had some free time to stop by. I'll try to see you when you get out, let me know.
Hi, yes all three tanks that I modified have had fuel in them. Fuel in liquid form will not burn, it is the fuel vapors that ignite easily. Two of the tanks were done without any welding. On the...
Yes getting the '7427 to datalog WBO2, and run your 4L80E is relatively easy. To answer your questions:
1. You should have no problem using that '7427 to run the 4L80E. Just make sure it has a...
Hi, thanks for the feedback, sorry I have not replied back sooner, I have been EXTREMELY busy for a few weeks. Yes I have a few of the springs, if you still need some let me know, I can throw them...
I could see using a microcontroller (Arduino, or my favorite - Teensy2.0) with a just a few inputs to handle the shifting instead of a whole computer.
I just checked in and noticed this thread. I am running two TBIs on a common plenum adapter on top of a carb manifold. So I am able to use only one IAC, if that matters.
I think any stock style fuel map should let you start the car as long as the injector constant or BPC are accurate, and then do some VE tunes from there.
I would say go for a '99.
DRAC or VSSB should be behind the glove box nearer the center of the truck. Not far from the PCM.
Welding a flange onto the older tank should not be too hard. The older tank will be thicker and easier to weld to than a newer tank. As long as you empty the tank, and make sure there is no fuel...
