Datalogging using elm327 plugin in TunerPro

Is anybody successfully datalogging a 12212156 OS/0411 ecm (or similar) using an obdx pro vt in TunerPro? I've tried several different adx files and even deleted and reinstalled TunerPro. Every time I select the elm327 option in preferences then attempt to start logging it attempts to connect for a split second then goes back to the yellow "DA: Not Connected" message, no error or anything. Wondering if I'm not setting something up right or the adx files are no good or maybe the obdx pro vt isn't compatible with this setup? On the obdx pro website it states it supports elm327 so I'm leaning more towards a TunerPro/adx file issue.

At the moment using PCM Hammer to read/write, PCM logger to log, megalogviewer to analyze logs, and Tunerpro to change calibration but I really prefer the TunerPro layout where I can have a dashboard up, analyze the log, and make changes all in one program.

i gotta tell you i've also tried logging obdii with tunerpro and i think it sucks. it's not a good tool for it, not at all. it's for ancient ECMs. separate programs are the way to go. what you really need is reliable acquisition, which pcm logger does fine. a dashboard is fun but in the end you want to look at the logs when you get home over a cold beer, not while you're driving, so it's useless for actual tuning.

Ok I'm glad I'm not crazy then for running a bunch of different programs. I haven't been very happy using pcm logger so far I'm trying to find something a little more customizable and "finished", it has several bugs and things that don't work right that are kind of frustrating and lacks in a lot of customizable features tunerpro had.

The main reason I like the dashboard is because if I'm driving and notice an issue I can look over and quickly note what was going on and also the time it was at so I can verify I'm looking at the right event when going through the log. I can do this in pcm logger but it's definitely not as easy to accomplish. Do you have any suggestions for a better acquisition tool than pcm logger?

    obd wiz

obd wiz is the software that obd link sx cables uses.i have not yet had the chance to connect to a vehicle yet but the program seems like it gives a lot of info for logs.similar to some hand held code scanners.fuel trims and sensor feedback and customizable.

OBDX and OBD Link are completely different companies, and the OBD Wiz software will not work with the OBDX Pro VT. I know, I have both.

I'm glad I saw this, I will have to try PCM Logger. I have been digging into OBDWiz and TunerPro to try and Log my wideband over EGR for a few hours now and I am really struggling to make sense of what hex cmd string will report back my PCM Blue Pin 55 value- Hopefully I can just use PCM Logger for any Wideband stuff.

The combo of OBDWiz and Tunezilla for analyzing logs has worked solid so far, I just dont love it for VE Tuning as I havent gotten it to work with EGR 0-5V...
