This is from a 96 LT4 Tunercat .cal file. I believe it a stock file It shows the IFR to be 27.0lb not 28lb.

Well now I'm confused. Was there both a OBD1 and OBD2 LT4 in 1996? My file is OBD2 and TC OBD2 IDs it as an LT4. Your file is OBD1 and TC OBD1 IDs it as just a Corvette. But even your file in TC OBD1 has the IFR as 27lb, not 28.

Maybe the attached TunerCats OBD2 .cal file from a 1996 LT4 is helpful.

My bin was found off the internet I only have tunerpro Im using the wrong mask to open the file Im using $EE that is for 94-95 but the bin looks correct just by looking at other parameters like injector flow rate, revlimter ect. OBD1 was gone after 1993. Im also getting different values for the 24lbs LT1 injectors I dont know why there different they used the same injectors

94 and 95 F-Bodies and Vettes were still OBD1. Just that the PCMs were flashable but were definitely OBD1. I used EE in TC OBD1 to open your bin.

This .bin has been screwed up by someone. The bin has been edited by someone who doesn’t know there are no letters I or O in vin numbers. The letter “O” as the ninth character in this vin number is in error and should be a number 0.

Thank you. TC OBD1 will not let you highlight the VIN and do a Copy like TC OBD2 will. So when I manually entered that VIN in the Vin Decoder I manually typed 0 and not O. A Copy and Paste would have resulted in an invalid VIN. But that still doesn't explain TC OBD1 IDing the file as a 96 Corvette in OBD1 .bin format using the EE Definition.

The two valid LT4 OS do not show up in this binary. Are we sure this is not a OBD1 ECM swap that someone typed the original vin from the 96 GrandSport OBD2 car into? Maybe an attempt to pass emissions with the OBD1 ECM installed?

I'm curious if TC just simply uses the 10th vin digit to ID the cal year.
