Hmm, ok, I took it to mean it was letters cast in. Thanks for the clarification.

Still, 12 pins and both cooler lines up front means either 95 or 96 from what I have seen.
Everything I have found says 97 on has the cooler lines separated, out up front and return line mid trans. So my guy shouldn't have a problem getting it ready to go.

If anyone here can verify that (cooler line change year) it wouldnt hurt to have that info in the thread for anyone else that searches year breakdowns.

Thanks for the help guys, gave me a heads up to make sure I tell him about the PCM and trans years.

That info was for 4L60E, the origanal thread had pictures of the PWM cast inside pump. But when they banned the guy with more info on trannys then anyone on internet, they deleted his phots too. So I didn't link to post.

Just got the plugs out of my trans and inside for a better look. Its older than I thought, has the 91-93 style plug. I nned to figure out if this is going to work or not. No point taking it to be gone through if it wont.

Time to start a different thread.
