Mark, lets add AMUB to the list, it appears to update even ADTT.

    D'oh!

Changed it, thanks, I meant AZFU. It's the latest manual for 7.4L like AZFT is for Auto...

We need more $42 bins that are for 4x4's most bins seem to be for 2wd trucks (I won't buy one, as I need 4x4 in winter)

Hmmm? Since there's nothing in $42 for 4X4 I wonder how much difference there is?

You made me look them up and same bin is listed for 2WD and 4WD looking at platform code.

Next time I hit the scrap yard, I'll grab more proms.

Also, is there a listing of which bins are async and sync?

I did notice that the bins that came in 4x4 also are listed as in 2 wd, so there may not be a difference. I would think that they should be very close if not the same, however I need to verify that.

Look for the ones up top in this thread for sure or anything not in the $42 info thread. Also manual trans memcals from 16197427 type PCM, there are some in bigger trucks.

Thanks Mark, I understand BCC find, but haven't looked at CalData. I think I will just find the latest $42 305 bin and make an ASM file. When we find an ADTT bin, i will switch to it.

I have a question and a suggestion. AMTU is the latest 5.0 bin I could find in the $42 thread with a 700R4, but it says with a 2.73 gear ratio. Does $42 even care? Also, I know this would be a lot of work, but on your to do list, could you sort the bins in the ECM thread by engine size? It sure would make it easier to look up a bin for a particular engine. I sort the moates bin lookup, but it is an excel file and easy to do.

I think this ASDL is the latest 5.0L Auto file we have? It's FED, not CA...

When I have compared FED to CA the differences were minimal, less timing, more EGR (some had AIR, I never added AIR parameters to xdf except enable temp..). Seems like CA just wanted to push push push FED standards for minimal gains in less emissions, but never took into account they be burning more fuel to do it... just a stock FED chip in a CA vehicle is good for 1.x MPG and passes emissions tests.

ASDL is newer then AMTU and they are both FED.

$42 does not care what gear ratio is. DRAC matches gear ratio. I've been through this and compared files for 2:73 and 3;73 gears and they both had same spark and fuel tables.

I'd have to make separate posts for 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 and 7.4 bins. vBulletin software puts attachments in alphabetical order. Have to be careful in Moates lookup and even our $42 thread as some of those bins were superseded. I've compared some superceeded bins and the differences are very small while others are huge.
