    New and im lost

    Hi everyone i just bought my moates cable for my 94 LT1 my computer is running windows 7 and that is as far as i have gotten i have been messing with this stuff for a few days now and i can not figure out what im doing wrong i can not connect to my car and i dont even know if i can connect to my cable. this tuning stuff is all new to me. im more the old school turn a screw and change the idle. but i do know how to operate a computer. i just need help getting off the ground and started. i feel stupid because i work on cars for a living. but i just can not figure this stuff out or how to work with it with my car. im afraid i wasted my money. HELP!!!!

    You need TunerPro, then the ADX and XDF file from this thread:

    im sorry i do not mean to sound ingnorant or something but on the one page that pertaines to my car there are alot of files do i need to load them all or what. also i do not see any that are for the 94 camaro LT1 so im still a little lost im starting out my day today to try and read my car and see what it is doing and maybe beable to see on my laptop my cars data. so i have about 12 hours to figure the out or im going to have to wait another week to try again when i have more time. i read all the links you sent me and i still do not under stand how to , or what to look for to start. sorry

    do i need to get a ASDU .bin file or chip or what

    No, that was just the bin file used in Tutorial. Your bin file is what you read from your PCM. Neither XDF or bin is needed to connect to data. Just ADX.

    okay i have my laptop next to this computer to walk myself through this. so far i have tunerpro rt open and have the 2 files youlinked me installed and have set my cable to com 5. is there anything else i need to load before i connect to my car. Again thanks for all the help you have given me. getting this started has been a nightmare or i have been overthinking it.

    on the link you gave me with all the different bin files do i need to load all of them or just some

    do i need to load a stock bin file for tp to use or what and do i need to load any of the other bin files that you gave me a link to or not

    If you are only wanting to look at the datastream, and see it in a useful way, you only need to load the .ADX.

    im in the car now watching the data and saved a start idle file. i have a miss and im trying to see it on the screen but i can not get the reading for seperat cylinders. and do i need to write my own program tune or is there other tunes i can load in to the pcm

    okay was not sure. still need to work at it some more im still trying to read my car and figure out hoe to add some tunes to it for the mods that are done to it. i saved a idle run at warm so i have made some process but there are alot of things to do with this program it is overwelming
