For interested parties, the GM LX9 V6 uses the same crankshaft reluctor as an LS1, while I haven't tried running an LX9 with an LS1 PCM, it may not be outside the realm of possibility.
I've been using this pinout quite a bit since I bought a Grand Am, thought I would bump it for anyone interested.
I'm working on developing an external crank trigger to allow for the installation of a 24x LS1 wheel on a 60V6, using the LX5 "Shortstar" sensor, which has a dual 24x output, one high, one low.
My plan is to make an arbor to hold this wheel:

and then a simple sensor mount, should be an easy enough part to make. I'm also going to see if the engine will run with only one 24x input instead of both, if that's the case, a LX9 V6 could be run with the earlier V6 PCM without an external trigger, or a aftermarket PCM.
Came across another vehicle that uses an otherwise unused pin - 4WD Montana, Venture, and AWD Rendezvous use C1 pin 74 as a PWM output for the 4WD/AWD systems.
