Got some time to work on my swap project, currently will fire up, (I shut it right off, as I have no exhaust, not sure if it will stay running, lol)...
So, I am cleaning up the wiring, soldering connections, etc, and I am down to the ALDL connector. Found the following during a search on here...
GM 12 Pin ALDL
A - Ground
B - ALDL Test Terminal
C - Air Injection
E - Serial Data 160 baud
F - TCC
G - Fuel Pump
H - Brake Sense Speed Input
M - Serial Data 8192 baud
I have wired in A,B, & E. I have no wire terminated for M. Do I need to use any of the others is my question? I have the 1227747 ECM, the harness is from a 1989 truck, not sure if the ALDL connector is though. My trans is an auto, but it is a 700r4 with a cable speedo, no VSS, I am guessing. Thanks...
