Well the engine stayed cool at idle at end of log, around 192*f but BLM still went to 108. Coolant temp stayed there a long time then at very end it started to go up again to 203*f like you shut the fans off?

There's still no signs of anything wrong.

Just let me know what you want to do? Seems like Fast has a plan and we will go with that unless we get more info...

well cansome settings in a chip help it out? if so lets go that way. I was messing with the fan settings. if it getting hot is where the issue lies I might try a cooler thermostat just to see.

    passed finally.

    low speed emissions--HC standard 120 reading 120
    low speed emissions--NOX standard 907 reading 482
    high speed emissions--HC standard 117 reading 113---passed
    high speed emissions--NOX standard 821 reading 318
    passed!!!!!

    repairs and HELP obtained.

    changed engine oil and filter
    changed fuel filter
    new plugs gapped 35---autolites
    new cap and rotor
    rebuilt tbi
found fuel pressure falling to 9 psi when hot. adjusted to 11 psi----still need a new spring. my 15 psi spring never drops
used solid gasket under tbi instead of slotted
rerouted egr vacuum lines---ran the orficed side of the egr solenoid to the egr and the open side to the tbi ??????????
found pcv valve plastic line a little loose---replaced with rubber hose---that was a tight fit
checked exhaust for leaks---good gonna get a new cat perty soon---budget!
rerouted knock sensor wire away from headers
started fans coming on sooner to run cooler
removed vapor line from canister to tbi and plugged it. don't know if that helped but my gas tank does build pressure
checked injector spray got a couple curtain spots on each but nothing real bad.-----will replace!!!! need a sonic cleaner

and in my mind the biggest difference---EAGLEMARK came through with a chip for the inspection. he will have to post what he did to that chip.

again thanks to MR MARK and everyone that looked and answered. again THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
