    Thanks,

The way I understand it is that Msec is added to the injector pulse width to compensate for fuel dropping out of suspension on manifold pressure changes. I use my wideband and the line graph monitor in tunerpro to adjust AE. I set the monitor to show my WBO2, TPS, map, and RPM. when I see a change in tps I look for how much it changed and when/if the AFR changed. in theory if AE is right you shouldn't see a change in AFR. if it is not right I look at when the AFR went too rich or lean. if the AFR spike coincides with the movement of the TPS then I adjust AE TPS. if the spike occurred just after the throttle movement I adjust MAP AE. as you can see below when the throttle changed (green) my AFR (red) went rich MSec's after the throttle opened so I adjusted MAP AE. this might not be the best way but it seems to work for me.

PJG, thanks for the info. That helps me understand it a bit better.
I swear, tuning this thing has had to of cost me a mint in fuel from data logging.

It's a good thing you waited till this year to tune, last year the fuel prices were at least $1.00 more a gallon!

Unfortunately Dave, I've been doing this for well over a year! Can't really do much when it's snowing and freezing out. I have to make up as much time as I can afford $ to in the nicer months.

at least you didn't do what I did last week... imagine my surprise when I stopped at a red light with the windows open and caught a whiff of race fuel, then realized I had been driving around all morning data logging on renegade 110 fuel. after changing the fuel pump the night before I grabbed to gas cans closest to the garage door. apparently I need to label my gas cans better...

So if I go get myself an WBO2 sensor, do I have to leave it in after I get my truck tuned? I have a 89 full size Blazer that I installed a EBL into that is next on my list of projects. I was wondering if I would have to get another for that as well.

No you can remove it and plug the bung. As cheap as they are I bought one for each truck. You can get the MTX-L for $160 on ebay

Okay, while I was staring at the ceiling last night, I realized that in order to keep it in when I pull my auto prom, I will have to wire the WBO2 into the ECM then. Great! how the F*&K am I going to do that now? I guess "we" can cross that bridge when I/we get there...

I too am going to attempt this. I read earlier that someone tied it in on the EGR voltage part of the ECM, which is what I am thinking of. I will see if i can find the thread and link it.

The picture below is the WBO2 data logging procedure, from TunerPro RT.
