Greetings from the Eastern Shore of Maryland

New to the site ...old car guy,

I have a 1995 (9C1 Police car) Caprice chassis with the Lt1 and 4L60 drive train under a 1949 Mercury body. It has a Painless Products engine wiring harness installed. It has 45 psi fuel pressure, the VATS is disabled, the park-neutral switch is wired correctly as is the brake switch and everything is properly grounded. The check engine light turns on with the ignition on indicating the ECM is wired correctly. (At least that is what Painless Products says.) It tries to start with gas squirted in the air cleaner so it has ignition. Apparently the injectors are not firing.

I bought a scan cable and software for it from Red Devil River.

QUESTION: What scan software are you folks using and will it work on a "B" body ECM?

    Many thanks in advance....
