Need to change reference angle, max and min advance. What angle is crank sensor installed at?
I'm not sure. It's in the factory hole, halfway along the block on a 3.4 Chevy 207ci 60° v6.
I remember something like add 50° to the reference angle in the mask, plus dizzy angle, so like 59.77 ° ....does that sounds right? I thought i bookmarked the page i was getting info from, but i didn't.
There are seven marks on the crank. One at tdc, then 10°, then 5 all 60° from tdc and each other thereafter. I looked for a diagram online, but can't find one.
60 degrees is about right. There are a few different versions of max and min timing. You can open a file from an early '90s Cavalier with 3.1 to find those values.
Just an update:
I plugged in 60° reference angle, 70° max advance and -20 retard.
Those numbers got it cranked up and the cam broke in, but I haven't drivin it yet. It idles great, so my hopes are high that it will drive out good too.

Good news. Thanks for the update.
