    These ones look close.

    Used 97-99 on l29 l30 l31 l35 engines.

I can check other years engine combo.
It will definitely be a oem production crank sensor. Do you know when this mefi is released first.

I appreciate the part number search! I'm not going to use the MEFI system. I'm using the 96 L29 Black Box PCM. What's odd is the stock L29 sensor does not trigger the computer. I'm going to dig into to this deeper. I'll post back what I find.

These numbers are good for 96 also.

The reluctor wheel used in 96-00 l29 is p/n 12561074.

If these match and the sensor is good, only possible reason could be the space between wheel and sensor.

I measured almost 0.060" of gap between the CKP and trigger wheel. I'm thinking a gap of about 0.015" is where I need to be.

Correction, the gap is about 0.036".

Does anyone know what the output voltage of the Vortec 454 crank position sensor is supposed to be? I have two used crank position sensors (not sure what make / model / year they are from) and the output voltage is 5.25 volts DC. I just purchased a new Standard Motor Products (PC123T) Vortec 454 crank position sensor and it has an output voltage of 12 volts DC. When the trigger wheel passes the crank position sensors I have the output voltage goes to 0 (ZERO) volts DC.

I did some research and the 454 sensor output a frequency to pcm, and for diagnostics some duty cycle in hz is measured.
It gets some B+ voltage so it is possible the output be around 12v.
For comparison Ls crank sensor output 4-6v signal.

Could a 96-97 lt1 crank sensor be used in the ramjet engine.
