The design shown is for the Vortec. My goal is "Bolt On OBD2" 4x for all Domestic V8's 1967 & up. See attached proto-type.

i got my bike back on the road and decided to start modifying my old honda 4 banger a bit, a bit of porting, new headers, pipe, intake, etc.

totally broke the VE in its factory sealed ecm. small high revving engines are really sensitive. now i'm seriously lean in the first 4000rpm (basically it's all air, feels like 1ft/lb of torque), making driving in traffic a challenge. but everything above 4000 it takes off like a monster and hits fuel cut at 190mph+ like it needs more gear. fun but not practical.

this is oldschool honda, so the ecm is pretty much welded shut, so you have to go either standalone or piggyback. i found a really awesome oldschool fi tuning tool from the past on ebay for 20 bucks. blast from the past.

these were the s#%t back in the early 2000s when fuel injection hit sportbikes, then people started wanting 3d tuning.

the most caveman simple fuel controller, it connects in parallel with your injectors, and tries to simulate carb tuning ranges with three potentiometers by reading incoming pulsewidth and extending it slightly

basically turn one of three screws to jack up fuel at low, mid, or high rpm. might be like a sledgehammer instead of a wrench, but it'll be nice to tune with a screwdriver instead of a computer for a change.
