Not until now, I’ll have to give it a more thorough read after work but from what I saw it looks like a lot of BIN info and compatibility with tunerpro. Not sure that’s gonna take me on the path I need.
Thanks tho Dave
you might just want to delete everything related to eehack and install the latest version. usually it freezes when something bad has happened to its definition file, and eehack does not do a bunch of error checking when it loads that file so it can easily crash
Thanks, tho I feel like I tried that (Tuesday)... I’ll try again.
TunerPro is a tool that can edit the parameters in a .bin file. For example TunerPro can be used to change the displacement parameter from a 5.7 liter to a 383.
Flashhack is a free tool to read a .bin from the computer or write a .bin file into the computer. http://fbodytech.com/flashhack/
Trimalyzer is a "Tuning Tool": http://fbodytech.com/trimalyzer/
Years ago gearhead-efi members, including me, had to pay to play with a LT1 using TunerCats: http://www.tunercat.com/cables/lt1kit.html

I finally resolved it... an update to the laptop screwed up compatibility. After several attempts to delete and re-download I finally dug into the laptop and had to restore it to an older date. I never thought I’d need to be a windows tech to build my car, looks like I gotta brush up my IT skills and relearn this platform
I believe I'm suffering the similar issues using a windows 10 laptop. This laptop is giving me trouble anyway, and EEHack will not open after the zip files have been extracted
Can anyone confirm if the EEHack will run on a new/newer laptop (one year or less)?
I may just replace this
EDIT: I was able to right click the EEhack in the folder and test for compatibility, then ran it on Windows 8 settings
