    Wanted Transmission Controler

I'm looking for a 4l60e stand alone transmission controller. This will be for a 1975 C10 with a 350 SBC. I'm located in NC.

I am currently controlling a 4L85E with a 0411 running a carb. Just needs RPM input to the crank sensor, vehicle speed, coolant temp, MAP and TPS signals to properly shift. The 0411 is also controlling my vortec distributor, cooling fans and a/c compresssor as well as outputing a signal for the speedo and abs. Ran my 97 Express van for over a year with a carb on it.

    I updated my post. I need one for a 1975 C10 with a 350 SBC that I'll be putting a 4l60e in.

Maybe a standalone 16197427 94-95 TBI computer would be an option? The link below has information for the 4L80E, the 4L60E would be similar:
    https://sites.google.com/site/astros...h-16197427-ecm

Maybe the 1975 C10 has a HEI distributor that can trigger the 16197427 computer.
Maybe there is a way to fabricate a Throttle Position sensor to the 1975 C10.

It does have an HEI distributor and a Holley 4010 carb. Holley make a TPS for a stand alone system.

Is this a DIY project that you are sourcing parts and / or technical drawings for?

Are you looking for a Plug-n-Play "junk yard fabricated" 4L60E controller?

DIY project for my 75 C10. I'm a member of a square body truck forum and a member there is using the 411 computer programmed only for the 4l60e trans and cooling fans with a TPS adapter for a carbed SBC 350 with HEI distributor.

He's using the bin and xdf files from an 02 Chevrolet Express Van with a 5.7/4l60e and deleting what is not necessary for the trans operation. I'm still learning on this stuff. There's a lot of great info on this site compared to a couple of other tuning sites I joined and have since left.

This is what I've found so far and I'll post it for everyone to see. I think I have the correct info for the inputs for the 00-02 4l60e.

The diagrams are for the transmission plug to the computer. If anyone wants to chime in, feel FREE to do so. I'll post the 03-07 transmission diagram later and the 4l80e is similar to the 00-02 diagram. I'm sure I found the inputs for the "CARBED" vehicles with an after market TPS, which I'll post later.

After all this is figured out, the computer will have to be setup to just run the trans. ALL the engine DTC's will have to be turned OFF with the exception of PO121, 122, 123, PO335, 336. You'll leave all the DTC's for the trans turned on. REMOVE all TORQUE MANAGEMENT and disable the ABUSE MODES in both engine and trans section.

If anyone sees that I'm missing something, please post it up.

The picture below might be helpful. Sometimes different year / make / model will have different wire colors than the picture below. Circuit function and circuit number supersede wire colors. What the heck, it's all copper on the inside of the insulation (the important stuff).

Thanks, I was planning on doing something like that. Will print this off and place with my papers.
