I'm here out of need, bought a full size 94 Blazer a couple of years ago with 380k on the clock.

Oil pressures been dropping over the last year and I've been running straight 40 weight in it to keep it alive while I looked for a transplant.

Finally found what I was looking for on craigslist. A 96 vortec 5.7 with supposedly 80k. Brought it home did some research and found out it's a 99 replacement long block. Tight and clean as a pin inside. Lucky me.

Anyways I've got tunepro rt and aldldroid and I'm going to take a stab at getting this thing up and running. I've got a few more EFI projects in the works and this site seems like the perfect place to find the information I'm looking for.

So here's hoping you can teach an old dog some new tricks.
