    Where to start

Howdy peeps, I think this has been asked thousands of times already but i still want to ask. Where do i start with tuning a 93 z28, what do i need, how to read its code, how to do live data, anything.
I dont know nothing about coding or even reading code so yes i know it's like giving info to a brick wall and expecting it to do something, but im wanting to learn ya know? Im open to whatever info your big brains got

The 93 computer has a chip. The 1993 computer IS NOT a flash computer.

you can read the chip but if its stock there is already a bin posted up here somewhere
you have to do some datalogging to see what changes need to be made
after that you need a chip burner to make changes
    ....and repeat

    G1 Adapter Install_01.jpg

    Moates has closed.

The long blue part is called a Memcal, which has the chip, knock filter, and limp home electronics. Everything inside the Memcal is soldered. The chip adapter board bypasses the chip in the Memcal keeping the knock filter and limp home electronics functional.

    Hello

To read codes you can use a paper clip
To Data Log you will need a Cable, Laptop, and something like tunerpro software, along with XDF file and ADX file.
To make changes you will need Tuner Pro, Bin File, and a chip burner.

The first question I have is why are you looking to data log?

Is there a problem your working on?
    Have you swapped parts?

scan9495 is cool, the guy that wrote it actually helped me in the early days before i started writing tuning software

it logs everything useful. it shows whether you are in power enrichment in fact i dont see any variables missinga

my software like trimalyzer and tablehack will load scan9495 logs

It does? I never saw that pid unless it was under a "unused" tag or a malf43 tag. Also if its not to much to ask, do you happen to know how the 93 talks on its data lines at all? Me and a friend have been trying to figure it out but we cant seem to see how it works
