I can't wait to finish up some of the stuff i'm working on and concentrate more on the VDF editor and some ideas for winflash when I have time to sit and learn it.
I checked the firmware on my avt yesterday and it is like 5-6 versions behind also.
I haven't seen the firmware download on the avt site, anybody know where to get it?
I think I was at .8 and current was 1.4 or 1.5
How do you check cable for firmware?

Plug cable into obd port or bench powerset click tools then check firmware version
Actually I used the terminal utility on the AVT site and queried it using instructions in manual.
Winflash has new option if its a locked PCM and know key in hex will read file
