What would it take to do this? Besides the intake, just wiring and bin changes? Or is it more involved?

From BobR in an email about this a year or so ago.
From this point out I'm curious about wiring. If you want to give it a go, from memory: pin 56 on the MEMCAL gets grounded. This sets the injector firing rate. Short out the current sense resistor (disable peak-and-hold), then upgrade the injector drive MOSFET just to be sure it will handle the load.

IIRC the 8060 $85 was done MPFI before $0D... yup here's a link:

When it's tuned and running well I'm going to start looking into it more, but it looks very do-able. I just think I'm leaving a good bit of power on the table with the TBI.
Either way I completely refuse to have 2 ECMs. That's so naff. :D

IMHO , I would upgrade to the '7427 PCM before doing any MPFI conversion.
I believe there is much more support and many people (including myself on 2 trucks) running it so a starting point would be easy to come by.
I don't think just going MPFI with a PCM is leaving much on the table vs TBI , granted I love the way mine run with the conversion , just thonk I could have gotten there with the TBI .
