My '88 Jeep w/ AMC 360 is $OE(7427) TBI and runs really good, but I like to play with this stuff.

Many years ago I helped a buddy convert from SD to MAF on a 5.0 Mustang.
Couple weeks after that I helped him install heads & a cam, and the thing really woke up.
I was impressed with how well it adapted itself and it was a blast to drive afterwards.

Or should I just keep hiding my pennies for the eventual LSx/4L80E swap.
As cheaply as I picked up the stuff it ran very well especially with the TPI PFI MAF setup with the 4L80 E behind it.

Ya know, I was poking around my computer and found a 0D MAF zip file with a bunch of info in it. It has kinda made me a little curious. The way I have my air intake set up, adding a MAF would be pretty easy. I have almost been tempted to try it, but would need to be able to have someone who has done it help me with making the bin and tuning it. As well as explain the way it works and answer my questions.
I am currently running the PFI mod on mine.

Well I ordered a MAF from eBay today for $22.50
I have 14 days to verify it's good, so that's some motivation @ least.

I tracked down a bin, and tested it out, the truck started and ran decent even without the MAF.

Shouldn't be too hard to add a MAF + wiring to my CAI.
But, like your comments above will need some info on the .bin and what to change.
I found the injector flow I believe it was 10.2 and I changed it to 7.69.
Also pasted my VE tables & spark tables in.

Hopefully the JTR VSS will work?
Or, there seems to be a parameter for the GM VSS that can be changed.
So maybe even the Jeep 8k cruise VSS could be made to work?

Got the MAF today, they cut the plug wires too short.
Didn't expect it to have a plug, but if it's like any other connector I'm guessing the wires/pins can be removed?

    Anybody know how they release?

    No clue without seeing it.
What did the MAF come out of? Year, model, and engine? Just curious.

Figured it out, there was an inner cap that had to come off, then the pin retainers can be lifted and they come right out.
I think these are what is referred to as packard 150? connectors they're pretty small.

The MAF is from a 2001 Chevy Silverado 5.3, there is like a million different models that use the same MAF.
    The PN# 25168491
It fit on my existing cold air intake hat dealio, hoping the K&N filter I have will stretch enough to fit.

Is that one of the MAF's that also has a built in IAT sensor?
