Any downside/issues to using a 0411 ECM and harness on a TPI (since I already have all the pieces)? -Bob

TPI doesn't use a crank position sensor and the ignition/cam position wiring is different. Also, TPI is batch fire while the 0411 is normally sequential injection. Take a look at the differences between the Vortec and TPI systems and you'll see what would be needed to do it. The late Vortec 350 was used with the 0411 in vans, so as long as you can get the details ironed out, it's possible. I don't see any downside once you get it put together, the 0411 is far superior to the TPI ECMs.

It will work just fine! I am running an 0411 in my 1997 Express using the 2002 Express L31 tune and have a marine intake on it with external injectors from a LS.
Just iron out the crank reluctor/timing cover and balancer. EFI connections offers a timing cover modified to seal to a pre 1996 block. Balancer will need to be machined down the width of the reluctor. Also cannot run a gear drive or double roller. Single roller works well though.
