need a little help, and of course it on my personal vehicle, a 2005 yukon xl SLT with air suspension "auto ride"
the OS that came on the truck (not sure if the original OS, but the air works with it) is
    OS 12606961

the reason i need to switch is that another person had a LQ4 in the truck that is no longer in the truck, so to put it back to a LM7 i am currently running a 2618 OS from a silverado.

the question is, does anyone know how to enable the air suspension in the 2618 OS or have a clean copy of the 12606961 OS?

    thanks
    JCC

edit -found out 9691 is the update OS for 2618, so ive grabbed an escalade os copy to attemp to get the autoride running

I don't believe the air ride is controlled by the PCM, but by the BCM, Body Control Module, at least it was in my old 2003 H2. I think you'll need a Tech2 to figure out what's keeping it from working.

completely agree that the BCM is what eventually controls the air ride, but there is something in the PCM OS has something to do with it, i swapped over to the Escalade bin and segment swapped in the lm7 and 4l80e, and suddenly the air suspension works.
even during writing the PCM the cluster starting displaying messages about "service ride control" and "stability control".
so at some level the PCM OS has to call the BCM over the serial bus to tell it air ride is available.

but either way, it works now and felt great. right up until the tail shaft bushing ate the slip yoke and tossed another seal, lol. (i swapped my spare trans in and reused the other tail housing) just glad i caught it before it spun the bushing. always a new challenge with a frankenstien.
    thank you for the reply
