383 cam recommendations

I occasionally do work for a salvage yard. Checked today and they only had one for a V6. But, I'm keeping my eyes open.

It's true, the 16197427 was used for both V6 and V8. The only difference is the memcal.

I found a BJYL 7427!

Now, I need to find some time and order a G1.

As a thought, I would upgrade the engine or the computer first. I think it would be a poor plan to upgrade both engine and computer at the same time.

Going to do computer soon as I can, I want to see the difference it makes. Probably wont do bottom end swap until fall, maybe later if I like the way the 7427 runs current engine.
